Mary’s Woods proposes another 48-unit building, hosts meeting Nov. 15

About a year after the city of Lake Oswego approved Mary’s Woods’ plans to expand its campus with nine new buildings and 200 residential units, the retirement and assisted living community is proposing an additional 48-unit building for the campus.

The additional building would be for assisted living and would provide “assisted living services to residents beyond those provided within our apartments and villa homes in our congregate care setting,” according to a letter from Marvin Kaiser, CEO of Mary’s Woods.

If approved, the building would be on the Mary’s Woods campus at 17399 Holy Names Drive.

Mary’s Woods will host a public, informational meeting about the project from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 15, 2016, at the Holy Names Heritage Center, 17425 Holy Names Drive, Lake Oswego, 97034.

Anyone who may have questions in advance or who would like to reserve a seat should contact Linda Werthessen, marketing and communications coordinator for Mary’s Woods, at 503-675-2442.

More information about the campus expansion can be found in this earlier post.

A rendering of the expansion planned for Mary’s Woods, without an additional 48-unit assisted living building that has also been proposed.
