The Glenmorrie Neighborhood Association will hold its next meeting at 7 p.m. Wednesday, March 16, in the library at Hallinan Elementary School, 16800 Hawthorne Drive in Lake Oswego. All neighborhood residents are invited and encouraged to attend.
In addition to tending to any neighborhood business, the meeting will include a presentation from Lake Oswego School District administrators and school board representatives, who will share information on the current state of the district’s facilities and current planning process. Following the brief presentation, they will be interested in seeking input and answering questions from association members.
The presentation comes at a time when the LOSD is teeing up a potential bond measure for the November ballot. The bond measure is part of the district’s long-range planning efforts to “address growth, capacity and at least $98 million in deferred maintenance and seismic upgrades,” according to a story in the Lake Oswego Review.
