Neighborhood meeting set for proposed new home construction

A neighborhood meeting on a proposal for the construction of new homes at 16755 Pacific Highway (on Highway 43 just north of Cherry Lane) has been scheduled for 7 p.m. Wednesday, July 15, in the library at Hallinan Elementary School.

Engineering firm Cardno  is representing John Anderson on the property and requested the meeting as required by the city. They are considering proposing a 3-Parcel Minor Partition at this location and would like to discuss the proposal in more detail with the members of the adjacent neighborhood associations and homeowners associations and surrounding property owners and residents.

Cardno noted that this will be an informational meeting on preliminary development plans. These plans may be altered prior to submittal of the application to the city.

Should you have any questions or need any further information, please contact me through the web site and I can either answer them or connect you with a representative from Cardno.

Please attend if you can, particularly if you live nearby, as new development on this property will have impacts on everything from traffic and stormwater runoff to aesthetics.
