Robinwood NA to Discuss Project that Would Build 34 Homes Near Marylhurst

The Robinwood Neighborhood Association is holding a meeting  at 7:15  p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 9  at the Robinwood Station Community Center, 3706 Cedaroak Drive in West Linn.

In addition to other neighborhood matters, the meeting will include discussion about the proposed development of 34 homes in the Marylhurst Neighborhood.

Residents in the Glenmorrie Neighborhood could be impacted by the increased traffic, congestion,  runoff and other effects of such a development. In addition, the proposed subdivision would require the removal of a substantial amount of trees. A nearby resident has started a Facebook page to raise awareness of the project and the potential loss of the forested land, which includes a number of significant oaks and Douglas firs.

Anyone interested is encouraged to attend the meeting.
